For over 50 years, owner Gary Kuhlman has built a remarkable reputation with Park Place Catering and Banquet Hall. Most people in Southeast MI have attended an event at Park Place or at least have heard of its excellent reputation. As a local, family-owned business, Gary has anchored Park Place’s position in the Dearborn community by building relationships with every institution and humbly serving the residents of Metro Detroit for five decades. Park Place is known for its top-notch events at reasonable rates, and continually giving back to the community in donations of food and service.
Chef Greg Ivan has been leading the culinary and banquet staff for over 21 years. Park Place is like a big family, as most of our employees have been with us for over 15 years. We work together as a strong team, all with one goal: your successful event. We know how to organize large celebrations, and cater to large numbers, and though we have done hundreds of events, each one is unique. We never tire of seeing people enjoy their celebrations and make lasting memories. Though we are in the background, we have a watchful eye for every detail to make your day spectacular.
Culinary innovation and impeccable service is at the heart of Park Place Catering. We are the preferred caterer for many local businesses, municipalities, and institutions. Every year we take part in the Dearborn Firefighter’s burn drive, and we annually support the Goodfellows, Kiwanis, and Rotary Clubs with donations and help with events. We have worked with U of M Dearborn, Dearborn Chamber of Commerce, Oakwood Hospital-Beaumont, Dearborn Schools, City of Dearborn, Stone Creek Banquet Facilities, Henry Ford Museum, Fairlane Mall, and every year we cater Greenfield Village’s employee Christmas party of approximately1,200 people!

It is not uncommon for a family to come to us for a wedding, and then a few years later a baby shower, a graduation, and one day an anniversary party.
